Out of the box thinking. Solid unit
I purchased this for large format engraving. The package arrived sealed and undamaged but most importantly ON TIME. Setup was straight forward and easy to understand. A couple of little hiccups along the way but tech support was prompt and precise. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.
A huge improvement
This upgrade ensures that the sides of the frame are running parrallel and removes the brackets inside the working space. The spider X1 does not jam or skip in the frame anymore. It now requires less re-adjustments and less failed engraving projects.

It was a case of biting off more than I could chew. The user interface is very professional. As a newbee I just haven’t figured out the ins and outs yet.

I ordered the Air Assist Pro for X1S. Then I realise that my machine was Spider X1. The staff assured me that the Assist Pro is compatible with the X1. Even sent me a free adapter. Very happy with the staff clear explanation. Thank you.
Great machine mediocre tech support
I’m enjoying setting up machine but there are certain aspects of light burn and how it works with the spider which make no sense. I watched tyvok’s video and it didn’t help. This is not a machine for someone who hasn’t worked with GRBL before.
Extra goodies
Thrilled with this bundle of extra parts. Because of the uniqueness of the x1, if you lose a screw or need to replace one, regular parts won't fit. Even though i don't need them now, glad i got this kit for when i do.

Much cleaner cut than without Air Assist
Tested the Air Assist yesterday and the result was very good. No burning marks - clean cut in the wood.
